Born in Yorkshire, I moved to Co. Durham for my secondary education before studying medicine at Edinburgh University. I graduated in 1984 and worked in various hospital specialties before becoming a Partner at The Long House in 1990.My experience includes obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, medicine of the elderly, rehabilitation medicine and A/E. I live in the locality and am married with 2 children.

I graduated from Manchester in 1989 then moved to Carlisle to complete my GP training. I worked as a GP partner in the Borders for 2 years before becoming a partner at the Long House surgery. I am also involved in the training of doctors in general practice and run courses on a regular basis.

I graduated from Edinburgh in 1996 and have subsequently worked in South East Scotland in both hospitals and primary care. I joined the surgery in 2005 and am involved in the training of doctors in general practice.

I graduated from Edinburgh in 1989 and completed my GP training in Fife. After working briefly in community child health I became a GP locum mainly in long term posts. I joined the Long House Surgery in 1996 working part time because of family commitments.

I graduated from Newcastle upon Tyne in 2005 and then worked in Sunderland in various hospital specialties and General Practice before moving to Edinburgh to complete my General Practice specialist training. I have an interest in Sports Medicine and am club doctor for a local rugby team, I have also completed extra training in Women's Health and can fit contraceptive implants and coils. I joined the practice in October 2010.
